The group sequence sheet displays on a time line the active stacks – grouped by similarity – detected by the Jeyzer analysis. It concerns both native and virtual threads.
The group sequence sheet is very useful when dealing with large multi-threaded/asynchronous based applications.
The suffix x<number of stacks> is displayed in the cell.
When a group is observed on consecutive recording snapshots, the related cells get displayed on the same line : it constitutes a group action.
The group sequence sheet is derived from the sequence sheet and therefore follows the same display structure.
Row headers and the cell content (=group display) support a limited set of data that exclude the CPU, memory and MX attributes (as those do not make sense in a grouping strategy).
Two pre-configured task sequence sheets are provided in standard :
– Stack group sequence sheet : minimal view. Main function and operation are displayed.
– Thread activity sequence sheet : detailed view. All functions and operations are displayed.
